I have been an English teacher since 1986. I attended San Diego State University where I earned a BA in LInguistics. I received my Teaching Credential from Point Loma Nazarene University. I started teaching in the Poway Unified School District at Mt. Carmel High School, then helped open a new high school, Rancho Bernardo High School, where I taught for 11 years. I returned to the Ventura County area in 2000, and took a break from my teaching career to raise three children. They are now 22, 24 and 27! In 2010, I returned to teaching, and worked in a few other school districts until I found my forever home here at Agoura High School in 2014. I can't believe this is my 10th year here! I love what I do, and I look forward to being your teacher and getting to know you this school year.
